Luiza França was born in Rio de Janeiro and holds a degree in Cinema and Audiovisual. She co-directed the shorts "14 Hours Journey" (2023 -Best Short at Curta Cinema), and "Wednesday" (2020 - Best Screenplay at ROTA Festival). She produced and was the direction assistant of the short film "Tiramisù" (2024 - premiered at the Janela de Recife) and is currently producing the feature project "Saint Feast" (selected for the Cena 15 lab, BrLab and for the BAL-LAB, in France) - both projects directed by Leônidas Oliveira. Luiza also works with editing in independent audiovisual projects and in the production of different projects at Matizar Filmes, such as the short "Private Photos" (2020), by Marcelo Grabowsky, the feature "Portrait of a Certain Orient" (2024 - premiered at the IFFR), by Marcelo Gomes, the feature "Neuros," by Guilherme Coelho (currently in post-production), the documentary "Dos à Deux", by Roberto Bomtempo (currently in production), among others projects in development.

Luiza was selected for the Paradiso 2025 Incubator with the feature film project "Saint Feast" and became part of the Paradiso Talent Network.
