George Ferreira, black and LGBTQIA+ screenwriter, is from Vila Vintém, a favela in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Graduated in Advertising from UniCarioca and has additional training in various audiovisual areas from Escola de Cinema Darcy Ribeiro, Roteiraria, Sesc Rio and Centro Afro Carioca de Cinema Zózimo Bulbul. As a screenwriter, he wrote the series “Body By Beth” (2024) on Max/TNT, the 2nd season of the series “Auto Posto” (2023) on Paramount+, the series “LOL: Se Rir, Já Era” (2021) on Amazon and the MTV Miaw award (2022). With authorial works, he was selected for the laboratories LaNaNe 2020 (Globo), Sesc Argumenta 2022 and Lab Negras Narrativas 2023 (APAN) with the feature film project “Cajado Filho - the man who invented Chanchada”. With the series project “ Quando a Gira Girou ” he participated in Lab Novos Talentos Gullane 2021 and won the Paradiso Prize and Diáspora Prize at the DiALAB Festival 2024. He is the director of the short film Ma Iá (2020), Executive Producer and Founding Partner at Dois Santos.

George received a Paradiso Award at DiALAB in 2025 and became part of the talent network.
