Bartolomeu Luiz works in the production and direction area. He produced the short film "Heaven Doesn't Know My Name", by director Carol Aó, which won the ProaC 2020 Production and Amazon award from the LAB Negras Narratives 2020. He produced the series "The Sound in the Streets", by Thuan Mozart selected in the SPCINE 2020 Development. He also acted as an assistant director, alongside Karim Ainouz, in "The Invisible Life", which won the award for best film in the Un Certain Regard, at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. He worked as an assistant director on Lázaro Ramos' "Executive Order", which won best film at the Moscow International Film Festival and at the CCXP Awards 2022. In 2020, he was a content creative assistant at Netflix Brazil, expanding knowledge about project development and distribution for streaming and audiovisual market. Currently, he's hired as an assistant director at TV Globo. And founder of Arruda Filmes.
