Lúcia Tupiassú is a Brazilian writer born in Belém, in the Amazon Region. She’s written over 15 already released titles. She is the author of the children's animated series FRUTI-FERAS (THE WILD BERRIES), awarded at Cabíria Screenplay Award 2021 and selected for the Doctoring Sessions of SerieLAB 2021. She is co-author of the documentary series MENINAS DE REALENGO (GIRLS FROM REALENGO), to be released in 2023. Her first fiction feature, A ÚLTIMA SILVA (THE LAST SILVA), was selected for the 4th Franco-Brazilian Screenplay Lab of Varilux Festival in 2021 and for the Storylines Lab at Cine Qua Non Lab in 2022. She holds a master’s degree in Communication from Rio de Janeiro’s Pontifical Catholic University and a degree in Advertising from the Amazon University. She also has certificates in Film Writing and in Documentary Filmmaking from EICTV, Cuba, and in TV Writing from Columbia University. Awarded or finalist on six occasions.

Lúcia was awarded a fellowship to attend the Storylines Lab in English (Cine Qua Non Lab) in 2022.
