Thais is a filmmaker, screenwriter, multidisciplinary artist and actress. She has a Master's degree in Cinema from USP. Her work permeates the boundaries between the arts, often working in collaboration with other artists. In 2021, she received in Doc. Lisboa - ARCHÉ, the Special Jury Award for Best Project in Development Phase with her screenplay "As Mulheres do Pau-Brasil". She directed the films "With My Dog-Eyes", "Nowhere", "Aller / Retour", "B (...)", "(...)Cactus?", "THREESOME" among others. In 2019 she was the resident artist at "Centro da Terra", Brazil and "Saline Royale", France. She spent a season in Germany where she collaborated with several artists and directed the performance "Co2 and Other Toxins". Thaís was also part of some artist collectives, such as Coletivo Corrosivo and Cia Auto-Retrato, with Caetano Gotardo, with whom she directed the film "Os Barcos". She created the performance "The Sleeper Who", in Peter Greenaway's exhibition "Tulse Luper Suitcases".

Thaís was awarded a fellowship to attend the TFL Next Comedy in 2022 with her feature film project "The Brazilwood Women".
