Rosa Caldeira (@orosacaldeira) was born in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. Works as a director, director of photography and gaffer in films, series, internet content and advertising. Trans and militant filmmaker, always finding ideas to work with peripheral and TLGB culture. His latest short film, Perifericu (@perifericu), received more than 35 awards. He is a co-creator of Festival Cuir, a film community and international festival of the South Zone of São Paulo. Currently studying at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV (EICTV) in San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, in Cuba.
In 2021, Rosa was awarded a fellowship to study at the International School of Cinema and Television (EICTV) of San Antonio de los Baños in Cuba.
