Bernardo is a degree with honours in Cinema (UFPE), with research focused on public policies for distribution and is taking a postgraduate course in Audiovisual Business Management (FAAP). He started his story in the Joaquim Nabuco Foundation's Movie Theater, working with the marketing, curatorship and programming teams. During this period, he has coordinated more than 20 national and international film festivals, in addition to producing several short films, as well as series for Futura's TV Channel. He was one of the Latinos selected for the Industry Academy (Locarno Festival, 2019) and invited to the U30 Locarno Pro (2021). He is passionate about communication and was born curious. Since 2019 he lives in São Paulo, works at Vitrine Filmes as a Distribution Supervisor, and has participated in the release of more than 25 titles in two years. He was one of the creators of Vitrine Lab and also of the @TantoCinema page, projects that express his great will of distributing knowledge.
Bernardo was awarded a fellowship to attend Locarno Pro's U30 in Switzerland after participating in the São Paulo – Locarno Industry Academy International in 2021.
