Yolanda is an Executive Producer with a 15-year career in the film industry. She holds a BA in Anthropology and has extensive experience in various roles, from development to distribution. Her expertise lies in strategic business planning, innovative leadership, talent management, distribution, programming, and curatorial processes. Throughout her career, Yolanda has been involved in projects with major players in the industry, including HBO, Netflix, Amazon, and Globoplay. She has also contributed to film festivals such as London Spanish Film Festival, Cabíria, French Film Varilux, and Ópera na Tela. In recent years, Yolanda has been a featured panelist and producer at market events like EFM, Marché Du Film, Doc Montevideo, TIFF, AFM, and the Rio Int’l Film Festival, among others. Yolanda was featured on the panel "Unpacking Sovereignty and Curatorial Justice: The Filmmaker's Perspective", during Cannes Docs 2023. She is an alumna of Nicho Executive and Doc Toolbox programs. Currently, she is an executive development producer at Maria Farinha Filmes, a leading company in impact entertainment in Latin America.
Yolanda was awarded a fellowship to attend the Creative Producer Indaba 2023.
