Master's degree in Creative Media from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Bachelor's degree in Film and Audiovisual from the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia, screenwriter, and director. She produced the documentaries "The First Stone" and "Rolê - Stories of the Rolézinhos," nominated for the International EMMY 2019 and winner of the Best Documentary Award at the Rio Festival 2021, respectively. Directed the documentary "Waiting for Saturday," winner of the Best Short Film Direction Award at the Vitória Festival and the Mimoso Cinema Festival. She wrote the screenplay "Red Flowers," which participated in the Panorama Lab 2017, Curta Cinema Laboratory 2017, and was a semifinalist at the ROTA 2017 Festival, and "Today Is Dance Day," the best project at Lab Curta Cinema 2022. She is currently developing her first feature film "The Dance Queens," selected by the Cena 15-Porto Iracema das Artes Laboratory.

Érica received the Talent Network Award at Cena 15, in 2024, and became part of the Talent Network.
