Ana Carolina Soares has a degree in Cinema and Video (UNA – 2010), when she made the short film “Lacarmélio” (doc, 2010) shown at Kinoforum, FAM and others. She served as Assistant Director until 2015. From then on she scripted, directed and edited TV programs, series, web series, documentaries and short films. He founded the production company A Itinerante Filmes, where he made his short films “Logo Após” (fic, 2018) shown at Curta Cinema RJ, Mostra CineBH, Mostra de Tiradentes, Sercine, Mar de Realizadoras, among others; and “Estado Itinerante” (fic, 2016), shown in dozens of Exhibitions and Festivals, such as the International Short Film Festival Clermont Ferrand 2017, Festival Cinematographic Internacional del Uruguay. Multi-awarded at the La Plata Latin American Film Festival, Festival de Brasília, Festival Internacional de Curtas de SP, Janela Internacional de Cinema PE, Semana dos Realizadores RJ and by the associations ABRACCINE and BRAVO, among others. It is also dedicated to audiovisual training.
Ana received a fellowship to participate in Curso de Desarrollo de Proyectos Audiovisuales Iberoamericanos (CDPAI) 2024, and became part of the Talent Network.
