She was born in Teresina, Piauí, and currently lives in Porto Velho, Rondônia. A screenwriter, director, and researcher since 2012, she has worked with production companies such as Conspiração (RJ) and Luz Mágica (RJ). She studied audiovisual at UFRJ and the University of Lisbon. She worked as assistant director, researcher, and screenwriter on the documentary series “Favela Gay – Periferia LGBTQIA+”, which was a finalist at the ABRA Awards and the Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro. Since 2023, she has been producing the Piranhão Film Showcase (PI/MA) and works as a project consultant and film facilitator. She was awarded the Paradiso Scholarship for the Master’s in Screenwriting at EICTV (Cuba), completed in 2021. She was selected with her fiction feature screenplay “Interior” for LabGuion (Colombia, 2024) and with her fiction feature screenplay “Draga” for Lab Cena 15 at Porto Iracema das Artes (Ceará, 2025) and Sesc Argumenta. In 2019, Ana was awarded a fellowship to the Maestría en Escritura Creativa, a master's degree from the International School of Cinema and Television (EICTV) of San Antonio de los Baños in Cuba.
