Camila Ribeiro, an audiovisual director, director and screenwriter of "Elise" and "Jussara", two short films. She has worked as an art producer and assistant director for 12 years, with more than 30 productions from different regions of Brazil, including feature films such as “Café, Pepi e Limão” (Doc Doma, BA,2019), "Receba!" (Giro Planejamento, BA, 2019), “Abaixo a Gravidade” (Truque, BA, 2015), “A Cidade do Futuro” (Coisa de Cinema, BA, 2015);; and the television series “Aruanas” (Maria Farinha and Globo SP / AM, 2018), “Assédio” (O2 e Globo, SP, 2017-2018), “Gravador de Histórias” (Temdendê, BA / RJ / RN / PE, 2017) and “Francisco Só Quer Jogo Bola” (DocDoma, BA, 2016). Student of the Postculture / UFBa master’s program and member of Minus - Research group on culture and subordinates. She researches the representation and representativeness of black women in contemporary Brazillian cinema.

Camila received the Paradiso Award in the 2021 edition of the Cabíria Festival de Roteiros with the feature screenplay "Arroz de Hauçá".
