Pardino d'oro at the 75th Locarno Festival (Big Bang - 2022). Nominated for the Palme d'Or at the 74th Cannes Film Festival (Sideral - 2021), Carlos Segundo is a director, photographer, screenwriter and editor. He has produced more than 15 films, fiction and documentaries that, in all, circulated in more than 350 national and international festivals. He is currently developing his second fiction feature film: Milk Powder. Segundo is also a professor of the Audiovisual course at the Department of Social Communication at UFRN. Doctor in Cinema from Unicamp-SP and Master in Psychoanalysis from UFU-MG.
His feature film project "Leite em Pó" was awarded by Hubert Bals Fund for development and he received Paradiso's fellowship in 2022.
