Celina Ximenes is a screenwriter and geologist at the Federal University of Ceará, where she focused on the environmental area and developed research on the environmental risk of the Itataia uranium mine. In 2018 she started screenwriting studies. In 2020, he was selected at the Cinema Laboratory of Cena 15 in Porto Iracema das Artes, where he developed with Larissa Estevam the script for the feature film “Yellowcake“, which in 2021 was part of the session “El Principio del Film” at Ventana Sur. In 2022, she co-scripted with screenwriter and director Armando Praça the feature film, in pre-production, “Aonde Você Quer Chegar”. She was a student of the Audiovisual Extension course at Centro Cultural Bom Jardim, where she co-scripted the horror short film “Noites em Claro” and was assistant director of the performance short film “Saída ́Para a Luz do Dia”. She is part of the 6th class of the extensive Audiovisual Filmmaking course at the Vila das Artes art school.
Celina's feature screenplay "Yellowcake", scripted in partnership with Larissa Estevam, was selected for the Screenwriter category of Paradiso Incubator 2023.
