Chica Andrade is a Brazilian Afro-Indian transvestite, director and screenwriter with experience in executive production. She is co-director of the documentary series Segura Essa Pose, an original for the Globo Play platform. She is the stage director of the interview program Retrato Íntimo, director and screenwriter of the feature film House Of Hilton - which tells the story of Erika Hilton, and director and co-screenwriter of the short film Estamos Todos Aqui, which won awards at 42 festivals, received the award for best short film at Queer Lisboa, was eligible for the 2018 Oscars and opened the Brazilian Cinema Night held in Cannes. She has taken part in several national and international labs, winning awards as a screenwriter at the 1st Negras Narrativas and Diaspora Lab. She is the executive producer of the feature film Comida De Mentira and is a member of the board of APTA (Association of Brazilian Audiovisual Trans Professionals) and the Paradiso Talent Network.
In 2023, Chica received the Paradiso Award at DiALAB, and became part of the Talent Network.
