Graduated at Filmmaking by Fluminense Federal University, Clara has written and co-directed the short films 'If You Were Dead' (2016 - available at Nvivo TV and Canal Curto) and 'Ana's Home' (2017 - awarded at 51th Festival de Brasilia and licensed for Canal Brasil and streaming platform Cardume). She has also co-written the short film 'The Woman I Was' (Karen Suzane, 2018 - screened and awarded at several film festivals and also available at Cardume). In 2016, her short story collection 'Amores Monstruosos' was awarded a Honorable Mention at I Prêmio Rio de Literatura. Since 2019, Clara has also been a curator for screewriting awards such as Cabíria and Cardume. At the moment, Clara works as a freelance writer. In 2021, her series project 'Érika e o Leviatã' was one of the five finalists at FRAPA's screenwriting competition, and her first feature project, 'Four Girls', was selected by Hubert Bals Fund.

In 2021, Clara received the Paradiso Award after being selected for the Hubert Bals Fund with "Four Girls", written alongside Karen Suzane.
