Clarice Siqueira is a trans woman, autistic, and from Ceará. With a degree in Cinema and Audiovisual from the University of Fortaleza, she has dedicated herself to researching and studying screenwriting. She has attended labs such as FantasoLab, SinistroLab, Mi Vida es de Película, Sol Film Lab, Laboratório Empoderadas, and Cena 15, receiving awards at the latter two: an Honorable Mention at Empoderadas, a public pitching award, and the Paradiso Incubator Award. She has been part of three writers' rooms, developing a dramedy project, a transmedia science fiction, and a horror-romance audio series, all still unannounced. As an author, she has signed projects for Paramount, Glaz Entretenimento, and independent productions, all still in development. She also worked as a screenplay and research assistant at Vitrine Filmes, supporting projects in development and the creative hub Vozes do Futuro: Olhares Femininos (Voices of the Future: Female Gazes), which won a SPCine creative hubs grant.
Clarice is the screenwriter of "The Man in the Ceiling" alongside Vinicius Cabral de Oliveira, a horror screenplay selected for the Paradiso Incubator 2021.
