Clarissa Guarilha is a film producer and founding partner of Arissas, based in Rio de Janeiro since 2008. She works on different documentary and fiction projects with an authorial profile and potential for international distribution. She co-produced the feature films "A Alegria" (2010), by Felipe Bragança and Marina Meliande, and "Tão Longe é Aqui" (2013), by Eliza Capai. In 2019, she was part of the Brazilian delegation of the Berlinale Talents. She is currently finishing Lillah Halla's first feature, "Ainda Assim", in co-production with France and Uruguay, and is developing Jô Serfaty's second feature, "Borda do Mundo", in partnership with Vitrine and Globo Filmes. Based in Uruguay since 2013, where she also works as a producer, she co-produced the documentary "Maracaná" (2014), by Sebastián Bednarik, available on Globoplay, and more recently the feature film "Las Vacaciones de Hilda" (2021), by Agustín Banchero, premiered at San Sebastián.
Clarissa is the producer of "Edge of the World", which was selected for the Première category of Paradiso Incubator 2023.
