Fernanda Lomba is a filmmaker and cultural manager. She was a resident at Cité des Arts (Paris) in 2024 through the French Institute and Projeto Paradiso, as part of the Paradiso Talent Network. In 2021, she directed her first short film, "A Noite", commissioned by the German Embassy in Brazil. She has served as a jury member for festivals in Brazil and internationally, including Cannes Doc, the Gramado Film Festival, and the Brasília Film Festival. She is the founder of Instituto Nicho 54, dedicated to research, education, and internationalization for Black artists and entrepreneurs. Her current work brings together authorial creation and aesthetic research, with a focus on memory, territory, and power. She also works in the development of cultural programs and dissemination strategies.
Fernanda was awarded a fellowship to participate in Cité Internationale des Arts 2024, and became part of the Talent Network.
