Flávia Vieira was born in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. With two degrees, one in languages and the other in journalism, she was a teacher at public schools in Rio de Janeiro between 2006 and 2009, then was a journalist for GloboNews until 2019. Since then, she started to work with screenplays. Her projects were selected by Colab Criativo/Netflix (2021) and Flup/Globo (2019). She is the screenwriter of the 2021 edition of "Diálogos GNT" transmitted by the GNT Youtube channel and the director and screenwriter of the documentary "Ceba, identidade afro-brasileira" (2010). She also is the producer of the short film "Tiro no pé" (2016). Flávia is the creator, presenter, and screenwriter of the podcasts "Parlare" and "Se não me falha a memória". In 2022 Flávia got the Paradiso scholarship to create a fiction series project called "Filho Pródigo" at the 20th edition of the Course of Development of Ibero-American Audiovisual Projects, a Spanish residence at the Ibermedia program.
