Guilherme S. Zanella is a screenwriter of projects such as “Cidades Fantasmas”, a documentary feature film winner of the 22º Festival É Tudo Verdade (2017); “Cidades Fantasmas – A Série” (Canal Brasil, 2018); the fiction series “Banalidade do Mal” (Prime Box Brazil, 2021); and the fiction short film “Corpo Celeste” (Abrolhos Filmes), nominated for the Prêmio Grande Otelo do Cinema Brasileiro (2023). Among his upcoming works are the fiction feature films “O Voo do Flamingo” (Miríade/Globo Filmes/Ciné-Sud Promotion) and “Borda do Mundo” (Arissas/Globo Filmes/Misia Films), with release scheduled, respectively, for 2027 and 2026, as well as the documentary series “Paulo Borges: Muito Além da Moda” (Popcon/Canal E!/Universal+) and the fiction series “Quando Ela Desaparecer” (Clube Filmes/Globoplay), both scheduled for release in 2026.
He received support from Projeto Paradiso to attend the Script Revision Lab of Cine Qua Non Lab, in Mexico, in 2020. In addition, Guilherme was selected with the project "Borda do Mundo", written in partnership with Jo Serfaty, for the Première category of the Incubadora Paradiso 2023.
