Brazilian screenwriter and director from Pará with over ten years of professional experience and more than 15 works exhibited on major broadcasters and platforms, including HBO, Globoplay, Globo, Futura, Curta!, Arte 1, and TV Cultura. She is the creator and screenwriter of Massacre at the School – The Realengo Girls Tragedy (HBO, 2023), a documentary series finalist at the 2024 Grande Otelo Awards, and of Vatapá or Maniçoba? (Globo, 2025), a dramedy broadcast on Tela Quente reaching over 16 million viewers. In 2025, she was nominated for the ABRAÇO Award for Excellence in Screenwriting by the Brazilian Screenwriters Association (ABRA). A two-time Cabíria Award winner and FRAPA semifinalist, she has also been selected for development programs such as Varilux and Cine Qua Non Lab (Mexico). She holds an MA in Communication from PUC-Rio and completed the TV Writing Intensive Program at Columbia University, in addition to training in Screenwriting and Documentary Filmmaking at EICTV-Cuba.

Lúcia was awarded a fellowship to attend the Storylines Lab in English (Cine Qua Non Lab) in 2022.
