Born in Brazil, Mariana graduated from the New York Film Academy with a Bachelor's Degree in Filmmaking. Her documentary film "Scab Vendor", will be released in 2021 and features Iggy Pop, Johnny Depp and Jim Jarmusch. As Creative Director for the collective MARACA, from Venice Beach, partners with Whisky Films and AC/McGarryBowen, Mariana developed and supervised multiple creative projects and worked under the supervision of Sebastian Arrechedera, one of the masterminds of marketing in Latin America. Currently, she is developing a TV series with Conspiração Filmes and won the 2019 Prêmio Catarinense de Cinema. Mariana is one of the participants of the TorinoFilmlab NEXT 2020 and a fellow at the Blood Window LAB 2020 at Ventana Sur. She is represented by Bradley Glenn from Buchwald.
Mariana was awarded a fellowship to the TFL NEXT - Story Editing in 2020.
