Milena Ribeiro is a screenwriter, director and producer from Goiás. At Assuntar Filmes, she tells children and young people's stories and comedies that delve into social conflicts. She wrote and directed the short films "A Bicicleta" (2019) and "Desculpa" (2021). She won twice the Cora Award for Midwestern female screenwriters in 2020 and 2022. Screenwriter of the children's feature film "As Pés de Moleca e a Bruxa de Maria Mole", developed with Globo Filmes and Gloob. At the Cabíria Award, the screenplay was a semifinalist in 2021 and the screenplay won an honorable mention in 2023. In 2023, the script was a finalist of the FRAPA screenplay coontest. Screenwriter of the feature "In the Name of Karolayne", that participated in TorinoFilmLab Next Comedy in 2023. In 2024, her script “Malu Tatu” won the FRAPRA screenplay contest. In 2024, she wrote and directed two films for TV Globo, the comedies "Caducando de Amor" and "Levanta, Regiane!".
