Rayane Teles is a scriptwriter and director from Bahia, graduated in cinema and audiovisual from the Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia. In 2021, she was selected to be a fellow in the Fulbright New Voices course for first-time screenwriters, being one of the twelve selected. He participated in feature film laboratories such as Griot and Nordeste Lab, and in the latter, his project was awarded a distribution contract with Vitrine Filmes and an access credential to participate in the San Sebastian Film Festival (2022). He directed the documentary Pinote (2020), which was selected and awarded as best documentary and character at the Film Festival Cine em trance. And in 2021 he directed his first fiction short film, "O ovo". She was selected by the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión of Cuba to receive a grant from the Paradiso Project to attend the next edition of Maestría em Escrita Criativa (2022).
In 2021, Rayane was awarded a fellowship to the Maestría en Escritura Creativa, a master's degree from the International School of Cinema and Television (EICTV) of San Antonio de los Baños in Cuba.
