Renata Andrade is 42 years old and is from Oswaldo Cruz, a suburb of Rio. She`s graduated in Advertising. She is one of the creators of “Encantado’s” (best comedy series at the APCA Awards 2022; best comedy script at the ABRA Awards 2022/2023). She won, with Thais Pontes, in the screenwriter of the year category (ABRA Awards/Projeto Paradiso). She is one of the screenwriters of “Mulheres Fantásticas”. She was one of the screenwriters of “Zorra”, “Escolinha do Professor Raimundo” and “Humor Globo”. Main scriptwriter for the “Prêmio Sim à Igualdade Racial 2023”. One of the authors of “Mãe Baiana”, based on the writings of Helena Theodoro, shown at CineOdeon, with Léa Garcia and Luana Xavier in the cast. In 2024, with Dja Marthins and Luiza Loroza in the cast, the play hit the stage. She was one of the writers of “Extra! Ordinárias” (Clube Barbixas, SP). She has a book published: “A Passageira ao Lado e Outras Crônicas”. In partnership, published “Amores Confinados” and “Tempus Fugit”.
Renata received the ABRA/Paradiso Award, in 2024, and became part of the Talent Network.
