Talita has been working in the areas of curation, distribution, and exhibition of films. She graduated from UFRJ and is currently a Master's alumni at UFRB. Her research is focused on strategies for impact distribution and new audience development for Brazilian films, with a focus on black contemporary cinema. She has worked at companies like Vitrine Filmes, Canal Curta!, Porta Curtas and Synapse Brasil in positions varying from Head of Distribution to Film Curator. Talita also has experience as a tutor at the Locarno Industry Academy since 2017 and was selected at Berlinale Talents in 2019. In 2021, she integrated as a tutor for the first edition of Vitrine Lab, and in this same year, she was part of the BrLab team, a member of the selection committee, a curator of Reach and a consultant of the Workshop Audience Design. She integrates juries, selection committees, and panels in several national and international cinema events.
Talita was awarded a fellowship to attend the TFL NEXT Audience Design 2021. In 2022, she was selected for the Sunshine Cinema's Film Impact Screening Facilitator Course and received another grant from Projeto Paradiso.
