Vinicius Cabral de Oliveira, born and raised in Fortaleza, Ceará, acts as a screenwriter and, sometimes, ventures through movie directing. Started film school in 2018, at Universidade de Fortaleza, diving right into the script process, writing and directing some student short films. in 2020, joined TV Unifor’s writer's room with 5 more screenwriters, headed by professors Max Eluard, Marcelo Muller and Daniel Tavares. Also in 2020, alongside Clarice Siqueira, he joined the 8th edition of Porto Iracema das Artes’ Script Laboratory, CENA 15, with his first feature project, “The Man in the Ceiling”, tutored by Nina Kopko, Armando Praça, Murilo Hauser and Karim Aïnouz. Finished CENA 15 's lab in 2021, winning two prizes: Incubadora Paradiso’s development prize, and Best Pitching, by a popular jury.
Vinicius is the screenwriter of "The Man in the Ceiling" alongside Clarice Siqueira, a horror screenplay selected for the Paradiso Incubator 2021.
